The source for Ian does not mention that he rose to the "Alpha Male" of the pack he was found in - merely the "pack leader" and since the alpha/beta hierarchy has been (to my knowledge) largely disproved by modern studies - I think it would be best if the section was removed entirely. However since the study of wolves is not my area of expertise, and the general sensationalist nature of this article anyway, I am not sure if this would be an appropriate change. Does anyone have any input on this? TheNightNightOwl (talk) 09:25, 4 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
