Felipe Birriel, a.k.a. "El Gigante de Carolina" (The Giant from Carolina) (1916-08-16-1994-03-15), born in Carolina, Puerto Rico is considered to have been the tallest Puerto Rican ever at 7'11".

What about the millions of us who use the metric system? Brianjd

In Puerto Rico, and in many other places such as the US, the metric system is not used by millions of people in regard to the height of the person, but feel free to add the metric equivalent if you like. Tony the Marine (talk) 01:19, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
