Regarding 'stylised' name

[edit]

For what reason is the name displayed as Fate/Strange Fake, when it is Fate/strange Fake, but then immediately saying that it's stylised as such? Why not just make the s lower-case and save half of a sentence? There are plenty of other pieces of Japanese media with names with non-standard capitalisation that have pages which don't do this. (Example - Kamen Rider ZEZTZ's page doesn't say Kamen Rider Zeztz (stylised as Kamen Rider ZEZTZ), it just accepts that as being the title.) ~2026-35436-12 (talk) 22:59, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

There was a discussion about this on the Fate/stay night Talk page a few months ago. The TL;DR is that Wikipedia's style guidelines require that pages use Title case, and it was decided that the title of the Fate/stay night had to be changed to Fate/Stay Night. A bunch of other Fate articles, including this one, were changed, too (but not all of them were). I agree with you, that it should use lower case, but "consensus" was reach, so now it has to stay this way forever. GranCavallo (talk) 00:48, 17 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
