Fanny and Rose (Josephine)

[edit]

Bonjour A reference is requested for the sentence: Laure and Rose's grandparents having been siblings. I'm sorry, but my English is not sufficient to answer.

But according to the book 'Diary of a fifty-year-old woman' Volume I Page 58 https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k467930/f95.item Henriette Lucy Dillon says “He (her father, Arthur Dillon) was strongly attached to Madame la Comtesse de La Touche, widowed at thirty. She was very pleasant and very rich. His mother, Madame de Girardin, had a sister, Madame de La Pagerie. She had just married her daughter to the Viscount of Beauharnais. So Fanny's grandmother was the sister of Rose's mother (Josephine) Do contant (talk) 18:01, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
