Eva Gouwens
[edit]Dear Wikipedia colleagues! I wrote an article about Eva Gouwens in the German Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the information about her person available on the internet is sparse. I would be glad if someone could send me extra. Greetings from Fritzober (talk) 08:05, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
Maybe no longer "advert"?
[edit]The article was tagged as advert in May 2020. It seems OK now; if others agree maybe remove the template? Best wishes, Pol098 (talk) 21:01, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
- Not Yet. Blatant advertising. The "Partnership with the /e/ Foundation" section is only one example, obvious at a glance. I will be updating that section to give it more neutrality and improved sourcing. -- Yae4 (talk) 10:43, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- How about now? ACaseOfWednesdays (talk) 06:40, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Removing a sentence in "Operating systems" section
[edit]| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
- What I think should be changed: Removing the sentence "Ron Amadeo at ars Technica in April 2020 warned /e/ users, "they'll most likely be on an old version of Android", but as of 2023 the official /e/ support for FP3 is based on Android 12."
- Why it should be changed: Outdated, irrelevant for this subject, also WP:Weight and at this point of time rather an opinion than a fact
- References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button): The current version of /e/OS is based on Android 12 following neutral reports: "Murena calls the operating system, ‘/e/OS’ but it’s a de-Googled version of Android 12."[1]

My edit removed a potentially useful citation
[edit]The edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fairphone&oldid=1175908325 ended up removing the citation https://www.circle-economy.com/resources/the-circular-phone as the text in the article did not match the citation.
However, the citation itself seems to be a report. I'm not sure if a promotional report or unbiased report, I haven't been able to look at it in detail. Leaving it here in case it is useful to the article and someone wants to examine it. ACaseOfWednesdays (talk) 06:44, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
CEO out of date
[edit]It seems that the section "key people" in the info card is out of date. According to this link, Eva Gouwens no longer is CEO. Gamerik (talk) 15:45, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
