Notability

[edit]

There are only two sources on this article. App Developer has a trivial mention. CGW has a much longer review, but I am not convinced this is independent. That is not enough for GNG, and I agree with the notability banner. This does not look notable, although is perhaps jus WP:TOOSOON. Is there any SIGCOV beyond these sources? TOOSOON? This is a decade old technology Jack4576 (talk) 11:51, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
The article is not about the technology, but about FaceFX, a product of OC3. OC3 Entertainment is a private company founded in 2002 by Jamie Redmond, John Briggs, and Doug Perkowski. the FaceFX domain (facefx.app) was created in January 2022. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 12:19, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
FaceFX is over a decade old. The domain might be more recent but that isn't when it started. Jack4576 (talk) 00:59, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
The page is up to 3 sources now, and given that OC3 Entertainment doesn't have a page it seems reasonable to keep this one. It might also be possible to expand the content by adding more on the history of OC3 Entertainment. Klbrain (talk) 19:39, 20 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
