- 1905: introduction of the 362cc-four cylinder
- 1906: four cylinder is placed on 410 cc
- 1907: introduction of new 224cc-single cylinder
- 1909: single-cylinder Gets a clutch, two gears and 247 cc
- 1910: four cylinder is brought up to 492 cc
- 1912: single-cylinder cc is brought up to 285
- 1913: Kickstarter and link on the four-cylinder, introduction of the "model 700", a 750cc four-cylinder
- 1914-1918: Factory occupied by the Germans and production discontinued
- 1923: introduction of the single cylinder 350cc-M60 with OHC engine and the 750cc-M50-four cylinder. The M50 gets controlled inlet valves, but it remains a head/side valve engine. Drive by a chain.
- 1926: end four-cylinder production
- 1927: introduction of the 350cc-M70-single-cylinder with side-valve engine
- 1929: stock market crash, production strongly cut back
- 1930: model line has three types: M60, M70, M67 (500 cc overhead valve engine)
- 1931: introduction of the M90, a 500 cc side valve engine
- 1932: introduction of first (200cc-) two-stroke, engineer Henri van Wood recruited
- 1933: Berlin-Aachener Motorenwerke created in cooperation with the German importer. FN-machines are sold in Germany under the name "BAM" (Berliner-Aachener Motorenwerke) until 1937.
- 1934: introduction of the M86, a 500 cc overhead valve engine, there also comes a 600cc version for sidecar use. Introduction of the rotating throttle on all models. The M14 (a race machine with two cylinders) is developed.
- 1936: worked on trail bike and, the M70 is upgraded (e.g. with foot circuit), and then runs (becomes?) the M71
- 1937: M86 Spéciale 500 production racebike comes on the market. Introduction of the M11, available as 350cc and 500cc OHV and IOE-600cc. Also introduction of the 1000cc-M12 (for sidecar use) with boxer engine and axle drive, four forward gears, one reverse and a transfer case which in fact eight gears available. Improving the dirt bike and. End cooperation with BAM.
- 1939: FN, Gillet and Saroléa are working together on army equipment. FN developed from the M12 a military tricar. This can accommodate up to 5 people or 550 kg of cargo.
- 1940-1945: Factory again occupied by the Germans and suspended production of motorcycles
