Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...
The band are clearly notable due to the amount of press available on them online (See Google!?!) and the amount of references used.
Edit War
[edit]I don't know what it is about and I don't care. But the edit war stops now or I will lock the article and block everyone involved. There are multiple avenues for resolving a content dispute. See WP:DR for suggestions. -Ad Orientem (talk) 03:41, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
Right, so you declined to protect the page without reading the information - great. There is no justification for removing referenced information from an official press release, and there is a clear confirmed conflict of interest. The only reason the singer (who has identified himself as such) has given for removing the information is that "it's not true" - not according to the official press release. There is no published article supporting his claim, and even if there was it wouldn't warrant the removal of the current text - it would just add another perspective.
Genre Question
[edit]obviously we dont know what they (exit calm) think, probably will disagree, but are they considered shoegaze;at least(musically) their first album??? taking smith vocals off, the music is very ethereal and "wall of sound-ish". labels are really not that useful, but i think they work well as a guide to know what to expect from a band´s music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.111.55.101 (talk) 20:26, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
