Feminist reclamation witchcraft

[edit]

@Gompk: quick question - do you have a source for describing Etsy witches or the online witchcraft services in general as "feminist reclamation witchcraft"? While you described the Jezebel article that way, the original article or articles about the Jezebel article didn't use that term so I removed it. It occurred to me that it should also be removed from the lead unless it can sourced in the article. Thanks! Sariel Xilo (talk) 23:54, 22 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not explicitly, that's just the aesthetic of activist feminism that Jezebel was embodying. Very happy for the term to be removed, although I think the article would benefit from a section describing how the 'etsy witch' popularity coincides and overlaps with the (non-commercialised) modern feminist witchcraft movement. Thanks for all your contributions, by the way! gompk 02:44, 23 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
