Eram massacre → Eram, India – What is this article about? The intro para is about a village, the pagename is about a massacre. Is the nominal topic the massacre, which is the half of the article, or the village? If it is the village, it needs to be renamed. • Oppose - I think the article's lead section needs to be rewritten to be about the Eram massacre. A separate article about Eram, India is needed, which is where the content in the lead and first couple of sections can be copied. I think the note about copy editing is more relevant than the one about the article being a coat rack. The template {{Lead rewrite}} could be usefully added to this article, too, as it needs clean-up and splitting some content into a separate article, not moving to a new title, which would change the scope of the article. An earlier version of this article indicates the scope of this article was intended to be about the massacre. Somewhere along the way it has gone off-topic to appear to be about the village, as well. I don't think mixing the two topics works and they need to be in separate articles. See WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY, WP:TOPIC. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 23:53, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
