removed reference to ken baum - no link no evidence - confusing writing. reverted to earlier clearer version.--Boscobiscotti 03:46, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge Proposal

[edit]

Someone has proposed merging Enterprise systems into this page. I work in IT and don't know any real difference; I actually came to these pages trying to find out. I think it's just semantics, so I support the proposed merge. Would be nice if an SME could clarify the terminology for everyone. bendodge (talk) 15:08, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Change of Relevant Term

[edit]

I has redirect the term Enterprise system from Enterprise Software to this page, as they are at lest literally saying about different meanings, where a system should be the combination of one or more software that systematically working together. --Gzyeah (talk) 07:10, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oops, I think i made a mistake on it! The Enterprise system is "also known as enterprise resource planing (ERP) systems", claimed by the authors from book Managing Information Systems: An Organisational Perspective (Second Edition), page 39 (ISBN 0-273-68635-6 / ISBN 978-0-273-68635-4). According to this definition (while you can find it in many journals about ERP), I have changed the redirection of term Enterprise system to Enterprise resource planning already. --Gzyeah (talk) 03:35, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
