[edit]This page was created as a redirect six years ago, and hasn't been changed since.
While this field has a link to applied maths, applicable maths and 'mathematical methods' it is arguably a subject on its own - on a parallel to say, engineering physics. For that reason alone I think this deserves its own talk page.

Digression
[edit]Like the interfacing of engineering with natural sciences, i.e. engineering physics and engineering geology (what about engineering architecture?), there seems to be a parallel social science/arts & humanities theme - engineering economics, engineering management, engineering law, engineering ethics (philosophy of engineering). I wonder where this article belongs in that scheme. Ema--or (talk) 05:15, 3 December 2012 (UTC). [edit]Hello, I'm new to editing articles but I am not new to engineering. I want to expand this article to provide a structured and methodical view into the mathematics used by engineers. If I began to do this, is that allowed? Am I able to just go for it?
