Notability
[edit]To state this explicitly (since it apparently was confusing to some people), the edit was to establish the notability by referring to a number of secondary sources in the scientific literature that references to the EPE. As indicated in the note, the list is by far not exhaustive, but was rather one article picked from one journal, with a set of prominent journals from the field being sampled (in order to demonstrate the wide usage of EPE). — Ylai (talk) 18:32, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]The planet it's self is way too hot to live on. For a planet to be over 5,000 K its not the best choice for anyone or anything to live on it unless it or you would like to burned to a crisp. Astorpheniox33 (talk) 19:01, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia → Encyclopaedia of Exoplanetary Systems – This website has been renamed as a part of a major website rehaul in October 2023. For the reference, see the official announcement, and the first available archive of the new frontpage (though for a while, the old frontpage featuring the old name was still accessible).
The old name is linked and referenced under the old name on many pages (1) (2), a lot of them but not all are coming from the templates (a) (b) (c) (d) (e), so this will require more work than just moving the main page. I would like to check if there's a consensus before attempting this. Slovborg (talk) 19:30, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- Support uncontroversial request. Updating Template:Cite EPE should clear out most of the necessary link renames. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 20:43, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
