The French president is Honorary Canon of St John (Latheran) but not of St Peter (Vatican)

[edit]

There is no holy see decoration on Emmanuel Macron's article

[edit]

The french president is ex officio Proto-canon of the Papal Basilicas of St. John Lateran and St. Peter's, this honour is on François Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy's articles but not in Emmanuel Macron's one. ~2026-83494-3 (talk) 10:30, 7 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Merci! I added the change using the first reference, which has the date that Macron was formally installed. The 2nd ref seemed to be more of a de facto statement. Peaceray (talk) 19:02, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
