Emblicanin is apparently a tannin-type compound which is currently being marketed by Merck KgA as well as other companies as a cosmeceutical antioxidant. Since the gooseberry is apparently a food (edible fruit), I have removed the links from various antioxidant theory pages (since a comprehensive list of all the popular antioxidants on each of these pages would be prohibitive) and I am instead linking this from list of antioxidants in food. This page needs to be rewritten to present better published facts rather than being used as a promotion for a specific type of antioxidant MatthewEHarbowy 12:53, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
