@Jonathan A Jones: Thank you for your restoration of the text regarding their daughters. I feel the current wording ("There are three daughters") doesn't quite scan; it feels a bit abstract, not linking their daughters to them (it kind of feels like a non sequitur). The current form of words was chosen after discussions with Elspeth herself, who felt that all the alternatives (including "they had three daughters") were worse.
