The article says he grew up in Walton, Warwickshire just outside Tamworth. But Walton is nowhere near Tamworth. I'm pretty sure that it is a misprint/mispelling of Warton, Warwickshire, which is just outside of Tamworth. Certainly this article says he comes from Polesworth, and Warton is part of Polesworth, so I think there's enough evidence that Warton is the correct place.
