It seems to me that Bir Ayyub is a far more common name that Ein Rogel; should we move it? Huldra (talk) 21:17, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Two separate, if connected topics:
  1. Ein Rogel, biblical toponym used for a spring; identification uncertain.
  2. Bir Ayoub, a well.
I would fully agree to splitting it into two articles, provided that close cross-reference is kept and the relevant parts of Bir Ayoub material is also kept on the Rogel page in a more compressed form. I've just disentangled them.
To be clarified, if possible: what does the Geniza doc. refer to? As long as we don't know, we can't place it on just one of the resulting 2 pages. Arminden (talk) 16:17, 20 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
