Not a colonel

I went through the references and, except for that brief blurb in a newspaper referring to him as "Col Hager", there is nothing to support that he held any military rank. The primary biographical reference (A History of Kentucky and Kentuckians, seems to be fairly thorough and it makes no mention of any military service. I suspect it was just an honorific, perhaps attached to one of his many lodge affiliations. I suggest it be removed, there is nothing in the article to support it in the lead.
