Earls and dukes
[edit]A user changed the redirect to the beginning of an article, albeit one with no content other than a See Also section. I reverted it, noting that the Earls and Dukes of Devonshire, as Duke of Devonshire explains, constitute a single line of noble succession. The earlier ones, up till William Cavendish, 4th Earl of Devonshire, were titled Earl, and then 4th was created Duke, the title held by his successors. This is all covered at Duke of Devonshire, which covers the entire line, and it's appropriate for this to be redirect. Largoplazo (talk) 02:46, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
