• I've reopened this one as I'm not convinced the first hook is accurate. According to the source, "as with the Baggenstosses, Dutch Maid remained a family run business with Day’s children, husband, and mother helping". So it wasn't "one woman" doing the job previously done by six men, it was a group of people, as before. Not clear if that arrangement is still in place either. With two stores in place I imagine the owner is relatively less hands on than before. Not mad keen on ALT1 either, as it didn't have to rebrand its fruit cake, that was just a marketing decision. I did. I used it to:

• aggregate information from various sources I had collected by viewing the physical media
• identify other sources of relevant information
• generate wiki-formatted citations so I didn't tie my fingers in knots with that
• assemble a draft of the information I had gathered

Without it I:

• verified that sources were real and said what the article said
• reviewed the writing and found it to be in keeping with standards I have been following for a long time
• copy-edited
• recognized that it was good enough to get started, and put it out there.

@Ke4roh If he sees a dash in one article, this user will flash it. I corrected it. I don't see language that embellishes the subect.

I reviewed the article the information is clearly not hallucinated information, nor copyright violations, nor claims not verified in cited sources, nor original research, or fictitious references. Filmman3000 (talk) 14:15, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
