For most of his junior high and high school career, Belden was small at 5'9" and 130 pounds
– you should add what that'd be in meters and kg, for international readers. I usually do {{convert|5|ft|9|in}} and {{convert|130|lb|kg}}.After school hours, he served as waterboy for the University of Tampa football team and assistant manager for the university's basketball team.
Should football be linked since you link basketball?- Sea of blue. Already linked in lead anyway. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 03:19, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
- That makes sense. BeanieFan11 (talk) 03:22, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

- Link senior.
- Should
17-year old
be17-year-old
? - Link freshman.
At 5'10" and 145 pounds
/he had grown to over 6' tall and weighed 190 pounds.
– see first point.- Link interceptions.
However a few weeks later, he retired from football to take a job with a liquor company.
– shouldn't a comma be added after "however"?He dressed in 12 games, starting three, overall during the 1952 season, recording 30 completions on 78 passing attempts (38.5%) for 470 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions, one rushing touchdown, four kickoff returns for 73 yards, three interceptions on defense, and two fumble recoveries as Saskatchewan finished 3–13
– that's a pretty long sentence. Perhaps it could be split? At one time, he was the youngest city councilman in Tampa history at 26 years old.
– is there anything about his city council service or how he got into politics?- I didn't really see anything worth adding other than the year it happened. I did also add that he was the son in law of Olympic gold medalist Edward Flynn. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 03:50, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
