There are two "Double drumming" articles

[edit]

Double-drumming and Double drumming. I propose re-naming the other article ("Double drumming") to "List of bands including double drumming" and link to it from this article. Thoughts? Objections? Le Marteau (talk) 14:53, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I can't find the old article about double drumming bands at all, not even by clicking your links. And I also want it back. Aginarikar (talk) 19:20, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Aginarikar: You are welcome to create a page titled List of bands using multiple drummers. That is not the same thing as double drumming. The use of "double drumming" to refer to two drummers in a band was made up on Wikipedia. Why? I Ask (talk) 19:22, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I know it's not the same thing. It was earlier a separate article as Le Marteau mentioned. Here's an old snapshot: Double drumming Aginarikar (talk) 19:43, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
And Wikipedia changed my URL to archive .org obviously. Let me try again: https://pastebin.com/raw/2R7BxJrF Aginarikar (talk) 19:46, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Here's a better link: old revision. The issue is that "double drumming", in that specific context, was a made up term. So it was redirected to its actual definition. You are free to create a page with a new title using the information from the old revision. Why? I Ask (talk) 21:15, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
