Overlapping articles /lists

[edit]

Someone might like to look at the overlaps between the stub article Double concerto, the section Concerto#Concertos_for_two_or_more_instruments and the list at Double concerto for violin and cello (which includes a section "Other Double Concertos" eg bassoon and cello!). I'll put this at all three talk pages. PamD (talk) 23:40, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

same/different

[edit]

Oxford dictionary of music (available online) definition is: "A conc. with 2 prin. instr., either of the same kind, as in double pf. conc., or different, as in Brahms's conc. for vn. and vc. Also used to denote use of 2 orchs. (generally str.), e.g. Tippett's Conc. for double str. orch.". For copyright we can't quote this verbatim. PamD (talk) 15:53, 5 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
