Protected status
[edit]Hi, does anyone know whether the Dorset knob has protected geographic status or can they be made anywhere and sold them as Dorset knobs? Thank you Skalkolvo (talk) 22:21, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- They're not protected, although in 2022 there was the beginning of a campaign to gain such status for them.
- But really they're only interesting if they're from Dorset. It's unlikely that they'd gain much interest on taste grounds, if copied elsewhere. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:40, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
