Notability

[edit]

I'm sorry, but is this person really notable by our standards? He had a work in the Whitney Annual in 1972, and a show in a commercial art gallery in 2011. Is that really it? Which of the four criteria of WP:ARTIST does he meet? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:07, 23 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Don Dudley is indeed a notable artist. I have just made some significant updates to the page. While Dudley's career slowed down significantly in the 1980's after his New York gallery Pam Adler Gallery [1] closed in 1986, since 2011 his work has been getting more and more attention including numerous commercial gallery exhibitions[2] [3] [4], catalogue publications[5] [6] as well as museum exhibitions.
