Why is this a disambiguation page? --Njardarlogar (talk) 18:30, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Redirect?

[edit]

Could an expert please give an opinion as to whether this page should be blanked and redirected to dnaB helicase? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:44, 14 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

dnaB refers to dnaB helicase. It is a kind of Helicase, but dnaB helicase is the more specific topic and the better target. I think it is a plausible search term, and a redirect is warranted. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk} 18:04, 14 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
+1 to what Mark viking said. I wish the edit turning this into a disambiguation had an edit summary with reasoning, as I can't figure why the original redirect to DnaB helicase was removed. As far as I know helicases generally have never been referred to as DnaB helicases. Maybe, it was meant to represent "DnaB-like helicases" as that refers to the family of helicases that have sequence homology with DnaB. Synpath 18:38, 14 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
