I have changed it to what I think is more accurate. The human species is diurnal but has adapted to nocturnal activity also with the aid of artificial lighting and nightclubs. Nurg 11:13, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I am a student editor from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and I'll be editing this page for a class project. I will be focusing on diurnality in animals. My goal is to show how diurnality has been studied in various animals using multiple disciplines of science with a focus in ethology. I appreciate any feedback that is provided on my work. I have made my edits to the "In Animals" section of the article. I have re-done the entire section as it was not properly referenced and I could not find good sources for a lot of the statements that was previously written.
