Removed text
[edit]A few old points I removed from "Advantages" because they didn't seem to fit:
- Location transparency
- Hardware independence
- Distributed DBMS
- Operating system independence
- Network independence
- Replicated transparency
- Distributed transaction management
Some of these are features instead of advantages (like DTM). Distributed DBMS might be a bit pointless unless explained. Some of these might be added again with explanations.
History

Example spam removed
[edit]Lists need clear and encyclopedic inclusion criteria (not "some random examples"). Secondly, the lead section should summarize information from the main text, not introduce new information on its own (MOS:LEAD). Also, noteworthy details should be based on independent reliable sources in encyclopedic context, not on self-published websites or other PR platforms. GermanJoe (talk) 03:29, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
