Possible infobox templates?
[edit]There doesn't appear to be a straightforward way to find an infobox that is appropriate for a particular article. (No search facility that I can find for searching among existing infobox templates.) There is an infobox for "protocol" here but none for "communications protocol".

Insuffisant notoriety?
[edit]The Distributed Data Protocol doesn't appears to be in used outside of the Meteor project itself, which also happens to be the protocol's creator. Consequently, I don't think the protocol itself has suffisant notoriety (at least, at present time) to justify a distinct page. The protocol could instead be discussed inside the Meteor (web framework) page.
