At this writing, I do see mention of Septenber 2019 but not of the announcement that the Bishop of Brooklyn, Most Rev. Nicholas DiMarzio, was tapped to lead an apostolic visition. Bishop Malone's wikipedia article also leaves this out. Carlm0404 (talk) 02:44, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

In this case, I do not see how the sources provided corroborate the text, which asserts that BPB "was arrested in Buffalo in 1999 on a misdemeanor charge of public lewdness. The parents of two teenage girls accused him of masturbating in his car in view of the girls. A visiting priest from Poland, Barszcz was immediately removed from ministry." The sources given (a local Buffalo paper) refer only to the charges made against BPB, but nowhere is it proven that the offence actually took place. The fact that BPB was removed from ministry is not a legal confirmation that the accusations were true. Unless someone can provide better referencing, I suggest removing this paragraph. --Melchior2006 (talk) 19:17, 25 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
