Diatonic interval?
[edit]As the article stands, a reader would come away from it with the assurance that the diminished third is a diatonic interval. (Read, checking for occurrences of the word diatonic.) Is this a good idea? In one sense the interval is diatonic, but in other senses it is not (see Diatonic and chromatic). Perhaps this needs some work.

Assessment
[edit]Hyacinth's articles often improperly synthesize Benward & Saker's textbook. There is a long stretch of unsourced information in this article, as well. This whole thing could do with a real cleanup. Albeit, I'm not sure Wikipedia needs an article for every interval.Trumpetrep (talk) 04:09, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
