Diatonic interval?
[edit]As the article stands, a reader would come away from it with the assurance that the diminished second is a diatonic interval. (Read, checking for occurrences of the word diatonic.) Is this a good idea? In one limited sense the interval is diatonic, but in some other senses it certainly is not (see Diatonic and chromatic). Perhaps this needs some work.

Sign of the Pythagorean diminished second
[edit]We are discussing the sign of the Pythagorean diminished second in Talk:Pythagorean comma. If we apply the definition given on this article, it should be negative (see also Pythagorean interval):
