Can you clear up a point for me, please? Does a digit always have three bones, and is the thumb therefore a three-boned digit, the first bone of which is a metacarpal, or is the thumb The place on Wikipedia for such discussions is WP:Reference desk.--Quisqualis (talk) 14:33, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
