[edit]Many people say don't spend money or distribute gifts to others on Dhanteras. as per their vision you can receive gifts etc on this day rather than giving gift to other.

Hi - it all seem lie to me - esp in relation to Dhanvantari. Never heard of this myth - which seems a concoction of Behula-Lakshinder story and !001 Arabian nights. Where are the references for such a story? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.210.138 (talk) 11:40, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
Peculiar?
