Cast and characters for unreleased films?

The "Cast and characters" section assigns actors to roles in four films that have not been released (The Scarred Woman, Victims, The Shadow Murders & Locked In). Given the vagaries of film production, and given that the last of these films is not set for release until 2032, it's possible, even likely, that some of these announced cast assignments will change before release.

Should these cast assignments be removed until they can be more reliably confirmed as each film is released? Dferstat (talk) 04:39, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

Is this entry for the novels, or a disambiguation for films and TV series?

Page doesn’t appear to be about the novels, but about the series’ film and TV adaptations.

Recommend beginning with a bibliography of the novels with release dates and recurring characters. Amyfrushour1971 (talk) 20:54, 19 August 2025 (UTC)

Nordic Noir

While they include quite nasty crimes and serious problems the books are also quite humorous, even burlesque at times, and while the films and the Netflix series have a more serious tone I would question whether they are Nordic Noir. It seems like every modern Scandinavian crime series gets characterized as Nordic/Scandi noir, and I suppose you could source the claim (for precisely that reason), but it is not currently sourced and I would question they are really "noir".--Winston X Smith (talk) 07:20, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
