Military and geography are rather different areas, so mixing them into one page is not good. After the split, I suspect that Defile (geography) better be merged into Mountain pass, because it looks like there is not much to say. --Altenmann >talk 16:22, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree that there is not enough geography-specific content in this article to justify a standalone article if the military bits are moved, yep. FineIllDoIt (talk) 19:41, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Reading an article with the “geography” disambiguater and then the article suddenly yapping about the military is an odd sight to say the least. There is minimal information about actual geography, and the disambiguater should be “military”. ~2026-44313-57 (talk) 18:49, 2 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
