Puzzle: “established”
[edit]“Defamatory libel .. has been established in England and Wales and Northern Ireland”? Not clear what’s meant by “established”?
Puzzle: defamatory ~ criminal
[edit]“Defamatory libel .. is a form of criminal libel, a term with which it is synonymous”: “is a form of” criminal libel indicates there are other forms - so tht “criminal libel” is a more inclusive term - but “synonymous” says the two terms mean the same thing(s) / are coterminous in meaning / are equally inclusive. Which is meant?
