Minor Revision

[edit]

Added a link for the new article on Loose Cannon and turned the name Jerry Pournelle into a link. Durwoodie (talk) 23:58, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability Flag

[edit]

I noticed that this wiki bio was just flagged for possible deletion for alleged lack of notability. Dean Ing certainly is notable! He is a prolific writer, and influential writer and a New York Times bestselling author. That fact that he leads a secluded life and only rarely grants interviews to newspapers or magazines should not be held against him. If that were our standard, then J.D. Sallinger would also be considered "non-notable." BellicoseSouthernBelle (talk) 04:37, 3 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

He is now deceased...

[edit]

His last book's publisher (Baen Books) mentioned it on facebook, and I've found this corrobrating link: https://www.echovita.com/us/obituaries/or/ashland/dean-charles-ing-11172821 - Is this enough, or do we need a more direct source? CJewell (talk to me) 03:40, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

The 1996 domestic bombing

[edit]

Given that the 1996 bombing was perpetrated by an American, why is the comment Ing made concerning it presented in this article in the context of 9/11? SlyGuyFox (talk) 04:33, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
