David Bowie
[edit]As far as I am aware, David Bowie is the pseudonym of David Robert Jones. There is a suggestion that his name might actually have been David Robert Haywood Jones[1], after his grandfather, but I have not found anything to substantiate this. Writing his name as Hayward-Jones is wrong for two reasons. One is that it should be Haywood and not Hayward. Adding the hyphen changes his name to Hayward-Jones and not Jones, which is his surname.
