(The following is prefaced on my reading of the existing text, as I didn't add that part.) The modern lingo in evangelical Christianity would be "became a Christian" or "was born again". We should update the article to modern language. But in any wording it is describing the process of switching from not being a member of the religion (regardless of attendance at church or other functions) to being a member of the religion. I'll refrain from editing the article until I find a source to see if my understanding is correct. GRBerry 12:42, 22 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I read a few of the bios. It appears not to be a conversion experience, more of an experience aking to a baptism in the spirit. And he alerady had an intent to be a minister, so it is safer not to describe it as becoming Christian. So I've adjusted the wording. GRBerry
