Where?

[edit]

1)He either settled in Lumberville, Pennsylvania or Lambertville, New Jersey; but not Lumberville, New Jersey. In my childhood, he still lived just below Lumberville, PA (at Cuttalossa). But for all I know, he may have moved to Lambertville NJ first.

2)After checking with the link to the Hollis gallery at the bottom of the article, I am changing it to PA based on their biography.

He did not fall from a ladder. He was standing on a small balcony just off his studio cutting back the ivy when the balcony gave way. He died of a heart attack, but they never knew if he the heart attach preceeded the fall or not. He had had several heart attacks by that time. I learned this from the current owner who meets frequently with the grandaughter who is the main subject of many of his paintings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.126.87.17 (talk) 11:33, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
