Deletion

[edit]

I'm deleting the following line because it seems poorly worded:

"Orient of damascening is started since 12century from Syria. Damascen also originated from the capital of Syris is Damascus."

Perhaps it means that damascening originated in, and derives its name from, 12th-century Damascus, Syria. Who knows whether that's possible? In any case, it lacks a reference.Unfree (talk) 05:01, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not original content

[edit]

I'm new here so I won't change anything, but most (if not all) of this post seems to plagiarized from https://jewishsegovia.com/2018/06/28/damascening-an-ancient-technic-still-alive-in-toledo/, with no attribution. It's definitely not written in an objective, encyclopedic style; e.g., "a hallmark of this beautiful city." MasterOfTheGlassBeadGame (talk) 16:49, 10 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Or they are plagiarizing from us - check the page history. Johnbod (talk) 21:21, 10 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
