I have removed the {{proposed deletion}} tag, and I want to set out why rather than leave it unexplained.
The rationale was that no significant biographical detail could be found in secondary sources, and when I created this article that was a fair reading: what I had was the station's own website, a podcast appearance and a discography listing. Having gone back to look properly, there is an independent secondary source I had missed.
Exclaim!, reporting the 2010 Stylus DJ Awards on 2 June 2010 under the byline of Del F. Cowie, names Danny D as the winner of Club Dance DJ of the Year, in the same list as Drake, Boi-1da and Melanie Fiona. That is a music magazine with editorial oversight, writing about an award, and naming the subject. It is now cited in the lead and in a new Recognition section, with an Internet Archive capture attached so the link will not rot.
I accept that this is one source rather than several, and that it establishes an award rather than a full biography. If you still consider the article insufficient I will not remove a second tag, and AfD is of course open to you. But it seemed right to put the source in front of you first.
