Accused Cypriot politicians cleared of all charges by the court of justice because the Cyprus Papers documentary is a product of montage, the original recordings were never handed over in full by Al Jazeera, to allow for the necessary legal proceedings of the court and the Al Jazeera journalists refused testifying in the court. As a result the accused Cypriot politicians are suing Al Jazeera for defamation.
