Reliability of Cuban Observatory of Human Rights

Latest comment: 1 month ago2 comments2 people in discussion

I'm not sure if it is due weight to cite the Cuban Observatory of Human Rights in the lede of the article. The organization received over $503,103 from the US government in 2023, according to official US government sites. Doesn't this make it inherently biased, due to the embargo the US places on Cuba and the openly hostile stance of the government since 1960?

https://foreignassistance.gov/cd/cuba/2023/obligations/1

In addition, other sites regularly note that it is US-funded: https://www.jpost.com/international/article-892006

I agree. The source is clearly biased 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 16:42, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Did Cuba have a census in 2022?

Latest comment: 10 days ago1 comment1 person in discussion

The infobox reports a population figure from the 2022 census, but I see no evidence that there was such a census. Canadachick (talk) 21:49, 23 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
