Disease or species
[edit]Is it a disease or a species' name? I think it is a species' scientific name. The first sentence should be changed accordingly. For instance, Cryptocarion irritans is a pathogen that causes marine white spot disease or marine ich.--Miguelferig (talk) 19:41, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
Rewrite of the clinical section
[edit]The clinical section of this article is missing some crucial information about the lifecycle of this parasite, including the potential damaging effects to animals. As this article hasn't seen much activity recently I will begin a rewrite of this section. Jellyfishgirl (talk) 08:31, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
