Picture

[edit]

Hello all, I just created this article, and being new to Wikipedia I am unable to add a photo of Mr. Culver. Could somebody add a copyright free photo of him and place it in the Infobox? Thank you all so much!

Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for the article, it is well written. To give advice, I would recommend removing some of the quotations, see WP:OQ for more information.

Promotional Tone

[edit]

As a Wisconsin resident, I love that Craig Culver has an article now. However, this article seems to treat Culver in a god-like status almost? This seems like a blatant violation of WP:NPOV. Example: "but the Culver family 'didn't quit'" or "in order to create a distinguished look, different from other fast food restaurants.". I feel like many quotes from Culver may need to be removed per WP:MOS, and potentially a banner should be placed on the article saying it is promotional. Hello Mr. Aficionado:
Admittedly, there is not a biography on Mr. Culver, and information was pretty difficult to come by. I ask you, where specifically does it come off as promotional? I would be up to changing anything, but at the same time, was the restaurant not repainted "in order to create a distinguished look"? Did not the family quit? While Craig has raised a great sum of money for charitable organizations, he is in no way venerated as a "god" in this article. Please let me know if I should change anything!

Sure. Describing Culver as lecturing on his "business journey" seems a bit flowery and not encyclopedic in my opinion. I would recommend possibly changing that to "his business career", or some other phrase that would fit WP:NPOV better. I would also like to thank User:JackFromWisconsin for cleaning up some of these potential concerns. Skyscraper Aficionado (talk) 11:38, 11 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
