Controversy

[edit]

I've expanded this section with extra context to make the events and discussions that arose since the film's release clearer. It feels important to expose both sides of the debate as this is of historical importance. The political nature of the film means that it has been subjected to a lot of scrutiny which is interesting in itself. Triplehuman (talk) 19:06, 28 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also - a question - refs 58,59,60 are the same as they are a ref to each paragraph. Should this just be the same ref number or ibid? Triplehuman (talk) 21:29, 28 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Triplehuman: We don't use ibid at Wikipedia, since that refers specifically to "the same reference as just above" and Wikipedia editing might move references around. Instead, use "named references" ("<ref name=...>"). For more information, see Help:Citing sources. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:42, 29 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, I'll fix those duplicate then! I'm still getting to grips with it all. Triplehuman (talk) 11:49, 29 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
The section about the controversy now forms the main part of the article, about 60%. I'd suggest a shortened version about the controvery - 10-20% of the article would be more balanced - or a separate article, if it's a matter of great importance. Basecam (talk) 19:04, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
