Proposal: Adding a "Material Universe" Section in Summary Style

[edit]

Should the Cosmos article contain a subsection pertaining to the universe, due to overlapping coverage? It would begin with a hatnote leading to the Universe article, and discuss basic scientific information in relation to the material universe, but would look at it through a more philosophical viewpoint, describing in the later paragraphs how the Scientific revolution transitioned the "cosmos" from a theological structure to a mathematical one, how the scientific universe is seen from a philosophical perspective, and how cosmology overlaps with astronomy. It would heavily discuss scientific systems, such as how the modern laws of physics or modern knowledge, and how they provide the "order" that defines a cosmos, leaving much of the raw data to the larger Universe page.
